ONIKA T. JERVIS

Onika T. Jervis has dedicated her career toward improving higher educational opportunities throughout the country – with a focus on the health and fitness of Black women and girls – including working at Morgan State University, SUNY New Paltz, Barnard College, Columbia University and currently as an administrator at Xavier University in New Orleans, LA.
Over the last 15 years, Onika had the honor of working closely with Dr. Margaret Wade-Lewis in raising scholarship funds for the Minority Scholarship Program and in planning First World Reunions 2000, 2005 and 2010. Onika has served as the chair of the Advisory Board for the College of Liberal Arts and Science and currently serves on the President’s Alumni Advisory Council. Onika earned a B.S. in Biology, ’93 and M.Ed in Educational Administration and Supervision from SUNY New Paltz.
